It’s Been a While. Let’s See What’s New for MTLGardening in The Future
Hey folks,
Like the title says, it’s been a while. First off, I want to apologize for the radio silence. Life has been hectic these past few months, but in the best way possible.
Big news: I got married! 🎉 Hands down the most incredible experience of my life. Amazing friends, an unforgettable feast, and most importantly, a wonderful wife. I honestly couldn’t be more grateful.
Our wedding!
On top of that, I recently started working with AU/LAB here in Montreal, helping manage 14 community gardens in Ville-Marie. Every week I get to meet people, lend a hand, and even run workshops. If you’ve got an urban agriculture project you’re dreaming up, I highly recommend checking them out, you might find the perfect place to share your ideas.
Meanwhile, my own gardening has been non-stop. Between my full-time job and the seven clients I garden for, things are running at maximum efficiency these days. Busy, yes, but also incredibly rewarding.
New projects on the horizon:
🌱 The Urban Sprout Podcast
Coming soon on Spotify! Get your headphones ready!
I’m working on launching a podcast for all the plant parents and garden lovers out there. We’ll be talking about gardening, horticulture, and some of the cool urban agriculture practices I’ve been learning at AU/LAB. Can’t wait to share this with you, it’s going to be a blast.

Another exciting project in the works: a small-scale at-home chili farm right here in Montreal. The idea is to grow and sell organic chili peppers throughout the winter, perfect for spice lovers and anyone who enjoys a little extra zing in their meals. I’m pretty hyped about this one (and yes, I think the name’s badass too).
🌿 Workshops
Me doing an urban agriculture workshop on how to take care of a rooftop garden!
This winter I’m also planning to host workshops on indoor gardening, covering everything from making the most of limited space to balcony gardening. These will be affordable, practical events designed to help more people grow their own food. Because at the end of the day, everybody’s gotta eat, and plants make that possible.
All in all, I can’t complain about where things are headed. I love what I do, and I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon. Thanks for sticking around, for your questions, your conversations, and your support.
Much love and as always:
Happy Gardening! 🌱
